Such a great experience!! They had live music and I had the biggest Sangri-Rita!! Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful atmosphere and food. Feels like a authentic Mexican experience. Great for groups. Quite large and flavourful portions. Live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. Service to start was a bit spotty, but got better near the end.

Delicious food, awesome authentic decor and friendly staff! Everything we ordered was very tasty. Our food came quick and just as we had expected. The restaurant is well decorated, giving you a feeling that you're eating in Mexico. The price is average and in line with other restaurants in the same range. We were well taken care of and offered a refill on the complementary chips and salsa. This was my first time eating at Viva Mexico, but I'll definitely be back! (Take time to read the many signs throughout the restaurant. It shows the good sense of humor you'll find in Mexico.)

Ordered meals for my family through skip tonight and a couple of meals were not the ones we ordered, but when notified they were understanding and more than made it right. Excellent customer service and tasty food/great portions is why this place is one of my family’s fav places when we are hungry, eat in or take out! Things happen, but when they happen the response is what matters.

Not a great experience. I usually love Mexican food, but everything was bland. I ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken was overcooked and rubbery, not to mention the taste was just bad. Also, the price was quite high considering it didn’t come with rice and beans. Overall, pretty disappointing.

Ordered delivery.. was over charged and the food was STONE cold. The rice was NOT fresh. I called to let them know and the fella did offer to make replacement meals and said he would provide a $5 credit. (Nice little trick, in order to get my money back I have to order again.) We were super hungry and didn't want to wait for another 30-40 mins for food that may or may not be hot or better. Our choice, I know, but this isn't the first time the food has been subpar, so the chances of receiving the $5 credit are pretty slim since we won't be going there again.

Viva mexico interiors transfer you to actual mexico city. Very loud b bright colours used in decorating the place in true mexican style. There is a small stage that gets musicians to play on friday and Saturday ( yah u can witness live mexican musicians ) The space inside is huge with table set up in different angles and booth set up too. TV screens on almost all walls . Too much of food choices and drinks are endless. Infact there is full fledge bar. Salsa n chips served while u wait for your order is freshly prepared. As always two dishes ordered. A vegetarian buritto platter n chicken enchiladas wrap. All of it is served wid a small side of rice and beans . Vegetarian was pretty good but the chicken one was disappointing. Big chunks of chicken was not cooked to the best . Our mango mojito was delicious. Might go again on a weekend night to enjoy the music and taste something else. Let mexican inside me come out one day😎😜

Love this place!! Lots of vegan options and service is great! Very authentic Mexican food and atmosphere. We have eaten there multiple times and always satisfied 😊

Atmosphere is like being in Mexico!!! So cute inside and the live band where nothing short of spectacular. I had the chimichangas and bloody loved it. I seriously can't wait to go back !!!!!!

Cadillac margaritas were splendid. It seemed the fajitas were a reheated afterthought though. Usually when a waiter delivers fajitas the tiny fry pan sizzles with flavour and an aroma that makes other patrons perk up and smell the deliciousness as it passes by. Not here, not today anyways.

Normally when I rate a place two things I take in consideration how they treat you and second how is the food..the time I entered I got a cold vibe may because of my apperance.. however I paid the same as the rich customer...that goes a 0 star and next the food even though the portion was huge the taste was average...there goes 3 🌟 so average I've given them 2 🌟...owner should be more careful sometimes the guy who looks likes homeless may be the Google local guide...

A fantastic quirky place to go eat and the food was actully better than expected! Super colorful and the staff are greatPlus it was my girlfriend's birthday and two musicians surrounded her and played Spanish music! It was great definitely a gem in LANGLEY

We went out for a fun lunch date together and instead ended up paying 85.00 for one order of nachos and one order of 2 Chimichangas (we shared) with 2 drinks! The drinks were amazing and huge BUT the food was horrible! The Chimichangas were so greasy and tiny with hardly any meat in them...the plate had the smallest scoop of rice on the side that tasted good but was not fresh and Refried beans that were dry and old. The nachos were worse! How can nachos be screwed up? 16.95 for a tiny dish of nachos with hardly any cheese or toppings and yet they were soggy? Honestly the atmosphere of this place is really fun, we loved the decor and drinks but can't justify coming back only for that with lousy food. Such a shame!

Was there with a largish party. Service kept up, food was great, but the margaritas were a little too sweet for my liking (traditional lime over ice not blended). Still had a great time and the live music was good if not a bit too loud. All in all it was worth the 5/5

The experience was like no other. All other restaurants in my mind should shut down. My smile is from ear to ear and I left 2 hours ago! My food was so delicious the taco smiled at me. Incredible setting and service! If I could add another yellow star I would give it 6! 💯 The live music was something out of a movie. Someone better hire these singers before they go platinum 💽. The owner took the time to make sure everything was perfection. I am currently driving off into the Sunset one happy man. 🌅

order food last night from doordash. food looks great but once we started picking the food up and eat we have realize that it is cold and not fresh. we feel like it has been sitting for a long time and not freshly made. we picked up the food 30mins from ordering it soo it shouldn’t be that cold. the rice and refried beans are harden on top so you can tell it has been sitting out for a while! I’m so disappointed and barely ate our food! I would like to get my money back because honestly it was such a waste ordering here!

One of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever endured. Placed over $100 order for my staff at approx 12:00pm through door dash, wasn’t until almost 40 minutes later I got a text saying the order was CANCELLED. WHAT?! I now have a whole team of people hungry waiting for lunch to now have to re order from somewhere else. Attempted to call restaurant 3 times, no answer. Not to mention door dash takes 5-7 business days to refund, so I’m now out $100.

I would suggest not ordering from here . I ordered the guacamole from the appetizers ($12) , the nachos ($16) and the kids quesadilla to be stuffed with cheese, vegetables & beef ($10). I ordered for pick up and arrived at the restaurant exactly the time it was to be done (40 minutes from ordering) . When I got there I had to wait 20 minutes for my order . When I opened my food and was so excited to eat I was met with disappointment . The guacamole did not come with chips to dip with. Second the nachos were soggy, not layered with beans in one clump in the middle of the tray directly under all the soggy chips . Finally the quesadilla was suppose to have veggies , meat and cheese yet it only came with meat and cheese . I am giving this a 2 star and not 1 because the portion size was great. As far as the quality of the meal I would say it was not good. If you’re looking for a Mexican restaurant I would suggest the other Mexican restaurant directly beside this restaurant called Adelica’s

Fun place, live music. Friendly accommodating staff (they make things right). And the food is great. I love this place.

This restaurant is a fantastic experience. The live band is wonderful, our waiter even hopped up and sang a couple of songs with them which was quite cool! The food is delicious, doesn’t always make it to the table fast but the quality and provided entertainment makes up for longer wait times. Viva Mexico is a must for anyone in the area!

This is a lively and family friendly Mexican restaurant. My husband and I have visited here 3 times and have loved our visits. The food portion is generous and the price is reasonable. We normally order the 10 tacos/rice + baked beans for $20, which was enough food for my husband and I to share. The food was tasty. We also love the festive and colourful decor. On weekend nights, the restaurant does live music. It was fun to celebrate my birthday there last weekend and have the waiters greet me with the Happy Birthday song in full blast and a chocolate cake lit with a candle. We’d definitely return for the food, the friendly service, and fun atmosphere!

Yes their food is decent, but service is TERRIBLE! Rudest waitress who did not give us our water for 15 minutes after being seated and our orders taken. She did not apologize, showed us lots of attitude when we asked about it. Don't come here expecting friendliness

Visited for dinner with my boyfriend, we arrived shortly after they had opened. We were told it would be a 10 minute wait before we were seated. We waited 10 minutes. We ask, "how much longer?" They respond another 10 minutes, and they arent even sure themselves why we needed to wait. We continue wait. Other people are now in the waiting room. We're told another 10-20 minutes AGAIN. We waited over half an hour before we left. Staff is very unprofessional and obviously not being informed of what's going on. They could've offered drinks to people in the waiting room? Instead they lost the service of over 3 groups because they couldnt communicate and provide a decent service. Dont waste your time.

I ordered from Viva Mexico tonight and half my order was wrong/missing. I called the restaurant and they assured me someone would deliver the correct order. No one ever came. I called the restaurant several times but they must have been having problems with their phone as I couldn't get through to speak to someone again. Very disappointing as this was supposed to be a celebration dinner.

Great Mexican restaurant - delicious food. We felt like we were in Mexico. Service was very slow; possibly they are short-staff. We asked for our drinks twice and asked for our bill three times. we couldn’t wait any longer so we looked for our server to finalize our bill. 🧐 I’m giving it three stars because of their service.

Food was alright, service acceptable; but the tip amount on the debit machine started at 18%... Didn't like that

Live Music makes you feel like your in Mexico, jugs of many varieties of margaritas which I need to get a driver so I can try them. The food is also amazing and I don't think you can go wrong ordering anything here. I had the Monster burrito with pork which was fully loaded rice beans guacamole etc. Very tasty stuff.

Viva Mexico has amazing customer service. I asked for a sub in my to go order and they couldn’t accommodate because they couldn’t get ahold of me over the phone so they added a note to my delivery order which was extremely nice, explaining. When I called back to order more food they offered it free due to their mistake, but I declined. They are the most accommodating restaurant I’ve ever ordered delivery from and the best tasting! I absolutely recommend them!

For a real authentic feel which is great. The restaurant is well decorated, giving you a feeling that you're eating in Mexico, but that's about it. We had lunch and were their first customers at lunch. We ordered Endachilas and Fish tacos. Both of our plates, the rice and refined beans were dried, especially the top part. I believe that rice was over night rice because i eat rice a lots that i could tell.. lol. For Fish tacos, a small pieces of deep fried fish that cut in half to made into 2 tacos for an order. View photos..very cheap on cheese! Also the tartilla chips were stale. The food really wasn't anything special but the service was good. I gave 3 Stars because the restaurant ambiance and the waiter service. 😁😁

I live in Vancouver and the drive is totally worth it! This this is literally the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the Lower Mainland, amazing service and 95% of the menu items are fantastic (wasn't impressed by the seafood/shrimp burrito).Great atmosphere! I'll definitely be back!!

I have been coming to this place for 10 years and still enjoying the food and atmosphere. Its feels comfortable sitting and eating here with their physical distancing of tables.The food is fantastic! They always bring chips and salsa to start. The salsa reminds me of holidays in Mexico. I had the chicken pablano mole enchiladas. Delicious!! Our server was friendly and attentive. If you like Mexican food try this place out.

Huge restaurant and awesome service. I recommended to make a reservation before to come here, otherwise you have to wait over 30 minutes. However, as I said before it’s an awesome restaurant! I love this place and their people. Best Mexican restaurant in lower mainland

I love this place, it made me so happy to see my friend so happy! The Burrito was hot and wet exactly the way they said it would be 👌I'd recommend this place all day for days. Also, make sure to set aside an hour and a half to enjoy the experience!

My husband and I have tried to give this restaurant a fair chance. Food is good but the service is the worst. Will go somewhere else. Dont seat us then give us menus ...ignore us for 15 mins to tell us your machines are down...cash only...and BE RUDE ABOUT IT!During these covid times ...u would think u would care. And your restaurant was empty.Will take our money elsewhere!

Obviously the place to go celebrate a birthday in Langley on a late Saturday night. Lol. We sat through a few birthday songs were the staff came out to sing. Place was busy. Had to wait a short while for a table. Server was friendly. The menu is large. And took some time to review. Portions are fairly large for the price. They served chips and salsa complimentary. And you can get seconds if you wanted.

Amazing food! I will order again. "4.5 star" Better then anything else I've tried in the lower mainland including Vancouver.

All the dishes kind of looked the same. It looked like big portions but they skimp on the rice and beans for some reason and it wasn't very filling. The large margaritas are great but expensive

Authentic. Nice Mexican decor. Has live music Fridays and Saturdays. Food taste great and reasonable prices. Ate off hours 2:00pm, lunch, for two was $30. Parking out front.

I received the wrong order for take out. I ordered the Mexican trio and got the carne asada which is 6 dollars less, but I paid for what I ordered. I called them to explain to them that I got the wrong order and was put on hold for 10 minutes, then I was hung up on. Tried calling again but there was no answer. 2nd time I've ordered here for take out since the covid situation and a regular customer before that. We enjoy the food when they get my order right, but customer service is lacking.

Incredibly unprofessional - would not recommend, additionally their voice-mail states they are closed due to covid-19 however their website does not indicate they are closed and allows you to place an order along with email confirmation that your order has been received. Extremely rude and will not give business in future.Would also like to add there was a hair baked into the burrito we ate. It was pulled from the middle of the burrito. Additionally because the employees card machine was dead when delivering he took my card number down and charged my card once at the restaurant. I checked my card the next day and it was overcharged.

We went here for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant has live music on the weekend. The musicians were super nice guys, they played a song for my fiance and I. Food was great. Service could use a bit of work but honestly the music and the atmosphere alone was enough to give this place 5 stars. The musicians really made this place a great experience for us.

Reasonable price for mexican food. Lots to eat that's for sure. Also, the Horchata drink is amazing!
